Element of Art: Color
This picture is a picture I snapped while driving by a sunflower field this weekend on my way to a concert. I thought it was beautiful and represented color in a significant way. It shows the light blue as some shades of yellow, orange, and pink are able to blend with each other and create this wispy bursting look of color.
This picture is of some beautiful fall flowers. Although they are fake, they show the beauty of how certain colors look with each other. The photo shows that yellow, orange, and red are all variations of each other and together can create a beautiful picture.
This photo is a piece of one of the hallway pictures I saw. The picture shows colors that are broken into small pieces that are put together to create a meaningful picture. There is mainly color in this photo and very few spaces that aren't filled with bright colors, which shows just how color can brighten an area.
This a photo of some fruits that I loved the way there was so much simple color. There is part of a colorful flag that is drawing your eyes up towards the bigger fruits that have a nice yellow color with some orange shadows. The bigger fruits lead your eyes to the smaller fruits that are a deep red with some light orange/yellow shadows and highlights.
This picture is a snippet of a painting I saw. This painting I absolutely loved because the color that was incorporated made me feel happy. There is so much bright and beautiful colors all put into one place. Color can always make me happy and when I see a portrait such as this, it does nothing but inspire me and put a smile on my face.
This is a photo of an area under a bridge. I thought this looked extremely artsy, because it draws your eyes back into the same direction. This to me is beautiful because it shows how such a drab and dull place could have so much color put into it to brighten it up and make the area a much happier place. The colors all create an ambiance that makes this area more inviting and interesting.
This is a photo I snapped of some beautiful flowers that I thought showed color in a very simple way. The purple contrasts with the green behind it making the photo overall intriguing. I think my favorite part of this picture is how there is only one bright yellow smaller flower showing through all the other flowers that look alike to each other. This picture could have a lot more meaning behind it if you think about it. It could represent society and us humans having the confidence to stand away from everyone and being different. This could represent being unique.
This last photo is one of my favorites because it keeps drawing your eyes back deeper and deeper into the photo. The colors that are in the sunglasses are very intriguing to me because they mix so many together. There is parts of purple, orange, and yellow that are blended together to create such a beautiful focal point.
beautiful examples of color, my only question...what were you doing under a bridge? :)
